چندوجهی انعطافپذیر
در هندسه، چندوجهی انعطافپذیر (به انگلیسی: Flexible polyhedron) به سطحی چندوجهی بدون هیچ ضلع مرزی گفته میشود که میتوان شکل آن را بهطور مداوم تغییر داد، در حالی که اشکال تمام وجههای آن بدون تغییر است. قضیه صلبیت کوشی نشان میدهد که در بعد ۳ چنین چندوجهیای نمیتواند محدب باشد (این امر در ابعاد بالاتر نیز صادق است).
اولین نمونههای چندوجهی انعطافپذیر که اکنون هشتوجهیهای بریکار نامیده میشود، توسط رائول بریکار (۱۸۹۷) کشف شد. آنها سطوح خود متقاطع ایزومتریک به یک هشتوجهی بودند. اولین نمونه از سطح انعطافپذیر غیر خود متقاطع در، کره کانلی، توسط رابرت کانلی (۱۹۷۷) کشف شد. چندوجهی استفن یکی دیگر از چندوجهیهای انعطافپذیر غیر خود متقاطع است که از هشت وجهی بریکارد الهام گرفتهاست.[۱]
حدس بیلوز[ویرایش]
در اواخر دهه ۱۹۷۰ کانلی و دنیس سالیوان حدس بیلوز را فرموله کرده و بیان کردند که حجم چندوجهی انعطافپذیر تحت انعطافپذیری ناوردا است.[۲] این حدس در سال ۱۹۹۷ اثبات شد.[۳]
تعمیمها[ویرایش]
۴-پلی توپهای انعطافپذیر در فضای اقلیدسی ۴ بعدی و فضای هذلولی ۳ بعدی توسط هلموت استاچل (۲۰۰۰) مورد مطالعه قرار گرفت. در ابعاد ، پلی توپهای انعطافپذیر توسط گایفولین (۲۰۱۴) ساخته شدهاند.
