جان بگنل بوری

جان بگنل بوری، مورخ و باستان‌شناس ایرلندی

جان بگنل بوری (به انگلیسی: John Bagnell Bury) (زادهٔ ۱۶ اکتبر ۱۸۶۱ – درگذشتهٔ ۱ ژوئن ۱۹۲۷)، مشهور به (به انگلیسی: J. B. Bury) مورخ اهل ایرلند، پژوهشگر تاریخ باستان، واژه‌شناس و مورخ تاریخ روم قرون وسطی است. او جز ویراستاران تاریخ باستان کمبریج بود. وی دکترای افتخاری حقوق از دانشگاه گلاسکو دریافت کرد. بنگل بوری در ۶۵ سالگی در شهر رم درگذشت. پیکر او را در قبرستان پروتستان رم دفن کردند.
