این الگو برای متهمان به آدم‌کشی زنجیره‌ای، کشتار جمعی، گانگسترها، یاغی‌های غرب وحشی، قاتل‌ها، اعضای مافیا، فراری‌ها، ۱۰ فراری نخست اف‌بی‌آی، متجاوزان زنجیره‌ای، اوباش، و دیگر مجرمان بدنام است. همچنین درباره مرتکبانی که در هنگام حمله انتحاری یا خود-دیگرکشی با هشدار پیشین می‌میرند نیز بکار رفته است. این جعبه اطلاعات، به ندرت برای کسانی که دلیل اصلی سرشناسی‌شان به دلیل ارتکاب جرم نباشد، به کار می‌رود.
